1. What is the price range for lots in Harbour Point?

Lot prices vary by location and view but at this time, prices for homesites range from $60,000 to over $600,000 and prices for homes range from high $400s to over $3 million.

2. When completed, how many Lake Lanier homes will be built?

Harbour Point's build out will consist of approximately 250 estate homes and 100 cluster homes or villas.

All plans must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee. Homes must be a minimum of 2800 square feet for two story homes and 2400 square feet for ranch homes. (The Architectural Review Committee must approve any exceptions.)

4. How long before a lot owner is required to build?

Estate Lot purchasers must commence building within five years of the lot purchase date. Villa lot purchasers will vary depending on villa area. All amenities are available to lot owners.

5. What are the amenities at Harbour Point?

Yacht Club (8000 sq. ft.) includes:

6. Will there be any dry boat storage?

Women after tennis at the ClubHarbour Point will have a gated dry storage facility for boats and trailers. This area will be set up on a monthly rental system for Harbour Point residents. There will be approximately 45 uncovered and 100 covered slips.

7. What are the dues and fees for the Yacht Club?

All homeowners pay an annual $1,075 association fee, which covers swim and tennis areas, clubhouse, nightly patrolman, common area maintenance, utilities and landscaping and courtesy boat slips designated for day use only. An additional $424 annual maintenance fee will be due for those that own a private boat slip privilege. The villas and cluster homes will have an additional yearly assessment of $1,219. This fee covers lawn maintenance (front and side yards) and the septic system maintenance. A $500 initiation fee will be charged on all closings and there is currently a $200 a year assessment towards a road reserve fee. This assessment will be spread out from the first quarter in 2005 until the last quarter in 2007. Only lot owners, homeowners and guests shall have privileges to the Yacht Club amenities.

8. How many boat slips will there be and how are private boat slip privileges obtained?

There will be a total of 252 boat slips. Approximately 30 moorings will be designated as courtesy for day use only. They are only available to residents and their guests. Private boat slip rights may only be purchased at the time of initial home purchase and transferred with the sale of residence.

11. Can a purchaser use their own plans and select any contractor to build their home?

A lot owner may select their own plans, but they must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee along with exterior material selection for approval. Only contractors who are approved as part of the builder program may construct homes at Harbour Point. Any of our Builders can build a custom plan. Harbour Point seeks to maintain the highest standards for construction and reserves the right to modify the builder program and reject any builder at any time.
